they don't play enough up-to-date music, they play more Caucasian music then they do black music. I would like to hear more upbeat music then what they have.
Great clean atmosphere!!! We definitely liked Mike the bartender!! Lol.
As a short, small female I never expect a man to put their hands on me. Tonight, at Jimmy Dee's on the south side a bulky security guard capable of breaking me; snatched me up, ripped my dress, and pushed me down the stairs. Without a single word said, he took our water and pushed me down 2 flights of stairs as he was trying to "escort" us. I now have bruises and a ripped dress, and he will have charges. I am 4'9" and he was atleast 6' , straight muscles.
I am a very respectful person, I was leaning over the bar with 5 of my friends and a security guard walked up and grabbed my arm and twisted it behind my back and started pulling me toward the exit. This guard did not say a single word to me just walked up and twisted my arm behind me back. I asked him what the issue was and he stated I needed to pull up my pants. I've literally been allowed in here maybe 2-3 times. other than that, I've been turned away for the dumbest reasons. long t shirts, boots, etc.. sorry your bar isn't that great
This place is so stupid. My friend wasn't allowed in because his shirt was too long. Every time we go he's not allowed in for some stupid reason. Like what? It's fine though cause when you're on the second floor it feels like it's about to cave in and good luck if you're wearing sandals you'll end up with glass in your feet. Definitely never going back.
Loved the place, until there was a fight. Knocked my drinks out of my hand then told me it was my fault. This place is a joke.
Its a fun poppin place but dude at the door needs to chill out I was trying to have a simple friendly conversation with him and he kept acting like I wasn't good enough to speak to him
