Very good selection of yarn, and excellent customer service. My husband ordered Madelinetosh for my Christmas present. The wrong color was sent. When I called customer service, the very nice young woman who answered was very apologetic and promised to send out the correct color right away. I called on Sunday afternoon, and the proper color yarn arrived on Wednesday.
Didn't have any problems with my order. (no place to put in that I am retired) was my only problem.
Jimmy Bean's Wool has the most incredible and awesome customer service! They constantly exceed my wildest expectations!
These folks are the greatest! Not only do they carry great product, but they listen to their customers and bend over backwards to make their customers happy. I love them.
Never had a problem with just ordering, but these beanie bags are deceiving me insane! I do realize it's supposed to be a small quantity of yarn, I realize it's cheap, but getting the exact same bag month in and month out is so boring! Also, they send you little notions as well, that's great, if they explained what the heck they were! This month I received some blue, yellow and red plastic discs that snap together. Great yarn store!!!! The customer service is amazing and they take the time to email you if they have a question about your order so it goes out right!!!!
Despite this company being across the US from me it is like shopping a local yarn store. I have never had an issue with customer service and it I had an issue with a product they handle the situation with ease. I highly recommend ordering from them, have a question?? Then call them, not only is their staff extremely helpful but they know their products or find someone that does. These guys have become my "other local" yarn store despite the miles between us but maybe one day I can walk through their doors :)
I chatted with Kristen last night on the messenger - so impressed! Kristen was kind enough to look at my pattern on ravelry and help me match the Tosh skeins in the exact combinations I needed (essential when you are trying to recreate a real wolf and a real fox for preschool-aged kids ;). I placed my order as we chatted and Kristen personally prepared my wool for shipment to make sure I get the right shades... The order even shipped last night! Shout out to Cameron who, when I inquired what to do about the broken needle I received in my shipment, said he'll send me a repeal meet. No questions, not even a proof of the broken needle or anything. Cameron was so friendly! And I received notice that night that it was processed for shipment. Thank you also to the team who listened to make the pattern for the Sugar Skulls cap available before running out of the yarn. Cheers!
