So I take my wife out for her birthday last night and I just need to know, what happened to Jimmies in West Haven? I remember the food and service being really good. After last night, I won't ever go back. They need Gordon Ramsy to save this shithole. So we order our drinks, an appetizer and 2 entrees. Our salads come out with some bread and butter. 1. View was spectacular 2. Waitress was very nice & friendly & accommodating 3.ordered from the lunch menu 4.the fried scallops were to die for 5. Clam casino was also delicious 6. Fried clam strips were simply amazing fresh,good crunch 7.for everything we ordered the bill was very reasonable 8. We got there at 10:55 and the doors were unlocked so we walked in. By the time we made it to the hostess stand the lady doing paperwork at the bar had made several rude comments about why were people in the building and they didn't open until 11. Very unprofessional! We get seated and order. We get our food which looks fine, nothing to write home about. Food was ok. But their service with handicap and elderly people sucked. We had a party of 12 with 4 wheelchairs included. We called about 45 minutes ahead of time. And their attitude was horrible from the minute we got there untill we left. Horrible service. Never again.
For a party of 13 with 4 wheelchair included the service we receive from. the time we walk in was not a comfortable one.!! we were made feeling like a imposition to the business!!Would not recommend them too anyone
Ahh I never review restaurants, or send food back. I grew up in restaurants, I know what bad fish looks like, smells like even when its cooked. I went into Jimmies for the first time last night, had a great view. Inside the building had a pretty cool look to it reminded me of old Las Vegas. Not a high end place more of a family restaurant.
