I went to Jimmies last night for dinner, I live in the area & have gone here over the years, mostly in the summer since the view & deck are a CT favorite spot of mine. I haven't been in the winter in quite some time & I was pleasantly surprised that the experience was just as wonderful as during the summer. The food was delicious & the service was wonderful. The crab corn chowder is my favorite! Jimmies is a staple in the community & a great family restaurant.
The food was ok..service was awful and rude. We had a party of 20 and they would not split the bill or at least tell us what each person owed. Had to sit there with calculates and figure out what each group owed ...véry annoying and aggravating especially since we were the only table in there except for two tables that had left within about 15 mins of our arrival. I would not recommend going here. Should have just went with out first thought of Turks or Lenny and Joe's,...lessoned learned.
Service was awful. Very rude servers. I would go to another place to eat. Don't spend your money at this place. They add 18% tip to your bill and don't care if they ever come back to table. Will never go back there
The last piece of Savin Rock history. A great local seafood establishment with a view of the Sound.
The food was fantastic and the service was even better. Not to mention the great view of Long Island Sound. Will be back there again for sure �
Disgusting food swordfish was over cooked & only gave like 3 lil pieces & salad wasn't even cut up liked they just threw in the bowl,then calamari was fried in old oil & they served marinara sauce with seafood never seen in my life I know of tarter & cocktail sauce but not marinara sauce to be served with seafood service was horrible management sucks I would never go there again or refer nobody this place went downhill
This is my favorite spot during the Spring, Summer and Fall... The boardwalk overseeing the Ocean is the best therapy for me... ��️�...
