I have been coming here for years and I have to say it really has gone downhill over the years. The food used to be to die for. This time I only got a salad and it was mediocre at best. Chicken was dry and over done. Just iceberg lettuce, 2 tomatos and 2 cucumbers.
Been coming here for over 30 years and have never had a bad experience. Went with a girlfriend here when I was 19 and spent $40 plus tip for dinner for two. At 52, I had dinner last night with my wife and spent $57 plus tip for a similar dinner for two. That's less than a 50% increase in prices in 33 years, showing that it's still a good value as well!
Absolutely worst lobster roll platter I ever had. The bun was so loaded with butter it was impossible to pick up. Must have loaded the butter to mask up the dried up claws and old mushy lobster....Really don't waste your $, Jimmies us not what it used to be. When I called to let management know my experience she claimed I was yelling a her(which I wasn't) and said I should have let them know when I was there. Amazing fresh- caught sea fare. The lobster bisque is a bowl of cedar, chunk lobster divinity.
My husband and I enjoyed it generous portions nice seating by the window good food worth every cent thought the lunch service was a tad slow but we had our appetizers and wine to enjoy while we waited my husband proposed to me two years ago at Savin Rock no regrets wanna go back
