On July 1st 2017 .... I went there... for lunch... food was not what it was years ago.... sorry to say... OVER priced... and not very good.... $36 for Lunch Shrimp Special and a Hot Dog Platter with 2 Sodas.... $40 with the tip ... before we were finished the waitress was bringing the check smh... went to the bathroom on the way out.... and the smell of urine in the Men's Room... was very sad for a Restaurant... to have been around as long as they have.... Loved the lobster roll !!!! And the view while having dinner is awesome!!!!
The baked potato was so cold the butter didn't melt. They were the smallest fried shrimp I ever had and the whole belly clams were good but they gave me about 4 of them. Back to the Sandpiper in East haven for me.
