The experience there yesterday was terrible, the food was horrible, Lobster Bisque, seafood platter was disgusting..I ask waitress for pitcher of lemon water, she said there we're no pitchers, but yet I observed people at other tables receiving pitchers of water, French fries we're hard and old, fish taste frozen, not fresh, clams taste like box clams...I can go on and on, I will not be visiting or recommending Jimmies to anyone..then changed and arm and leg, shame on Jimmies...
I felt the quality overall was fair but for the price I would have expected more
It's hard to say that I've had anything other than poor to fair experience. Food = 1 Service = 3 The waitress largely met expectations. Nothing incredible, nothing much to say either. The food was extremely bad. Not only were the meals VERY high in price (which I'm okay with if the quality warrants it), but it was also very bland. Almost no flavor in any of the four different meals that were chosen in my party. It has been to long and I must return for some fantastic Seafood, scenery and Green Tarter Sauce.
Excellent location, service and food. There's ample parking and on a Saturday night in August we only had to wait 30 minutes for a table. We had drinks out on the patio while we waited and the bar service was excellent. Our booth was spacious and had an unobstructed view of the beach and Long Island Sound. Our waitress was excellent and made some recommendations, which turned out to be fantastic. All in all we had a great dinner and night out at a wonderful spot on the shoreline of CT.
You dont get what you pay for. I had 4 baked stuff shrimp. 4 tiny shrimp and alot of bread to make them look big and the taste wasn't there. I had some of my girlfriends dinner and it was terrible. Her son had twin lobster tails. Again little meat but a ton of bread stuffing. Sucks. Place was empty and the service sucked.
