I called to make a reservation for 10 for my birthday party and this woman very curtly told me there is no separate checks and 18 % gratuity gets added to our bill. I said we are all on the way people usually do separate checks with large party and I thought in CT you couldn’t just add gratuity anymore it wasn’t legal.
