I had an auto insurance policy with the State Farm agent K. Modesitt of V*** ****** **. Due to uncompetitive State Farm's premiums, I switched to another company effective October 01, 2021. Ive had State Farm car insurance and homeowners insurance for 25 years in **** ****** . My car premium has been going up at a ridiculous amount. Shame on me for staying with them for as long as I have and trusting them to be honest ! I have been paying $15,000 a year for 5 cars which ran me around $1250-$1300 a month . I called ***and got a quote for $7200 a year . That’s a huge difference which leads me to believe they are ripping people off so badly and I’d like to know what I can do about it?
State Farm Claims depart is horrible. I am a 30-year customer that got hit in an auto accident. not only did they treat me like they couldn't care a less they never looked into my claim and said I was a fault for rear-end collision. They wrote down I violated a vehicle code that does not even exist in the state of **. When I called them out they just ignored me and never returned phone calls and the agent we have is useless and not helpful at all.

State Farm, well I can tell your this we have not gotten the "******* ******* Service", that is for sure. We Roof damage, a broken window, and hail damage from a storm that happen in December of 2021. It is now April 2022 and State Farm has not helped us but took 500.00 deposit and did nothing. The first person they sent to the house came over and then told us they don't do residential work so that made no sense. State Farm’s clams don’t care to do there job , was told to down load a app and send pic and info . This is the worst insurance company I have ever come across. It’s hard to know where to start with their antics, but I’ll try. 1) they don’t make the claimant whole. They attempted to do a substandard repair on our 80k vehicle, even though their party was fully at fault. Two other body shops said a new bumper is needed and State Farm’s “preferred” body shop wants to put body filler on the bumper so they can save a buck. Double charges for the same vehicle. They were supposed to transfer my vehicle to ******** office. Instead they are doing dipping and won't stop double charging me. They also are charging me for a vehicle I asked several times to be removed. I can never get ahold of anyone at an office here. So I have to call Customer service. Even then they won't do anything. Almost every home in our neighborhood has been repaired due to wind damage. State Farm’s adjuster came out, then they paid an ‘independent’ engineer to look all to deny our claim stating the damage occurred prior to our purchase and insurance of the home with their company. They made us do a four point inspection with wind mitigation on the roof before they would insure us. I was told then all was good. Now they say the damage is prior to their inspection. Zero stars! I purchased a home in November 2021 and my insurance with State Farm started on January 1, 2022. I had a pipe burst in January; it is now April and the claim is still not resolved. The adjuster, will not return phone or email messages. Had I known that this business was NOT accredited by the BBB, I wouldn’t have done business with them. “Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there…” WHAT A JOKE! More like a thief, who steals hard earned money from disabled people. Truly sickening!
