RecommendedI have now had two phones repaired here. The first was my work Samsung phone with a broken screen fixed as advertised as I waited 👍. Now the second was my personal IPhone that would no longer take a charge. I went to the Apple Genius Bar and was told “the port was missing a pin, so do you want to buy a new iPhone?” I went to Jet City Device Repair, got a new port along with a new battery (phone was older but in great condition). In the 45 minutes and $110 as quoted I walked out with a “good as new” phone. Thanks guys.
My iphone had trouble charging for 6 months and i had to put pressure on cord to get it to charge until finally it would not charge at all. I made an appt to replace charging port. When I arrived i described the problem. He took my phone and came back within 5 min and told me he took phone apart and the connection just had lint in it and no parts were needed. He didnt charge me for his time. Fast and friendly service and I will be going back for any future repairs.
I had a choice: replace my perfectly amazing iPhone 7 that still has 64 GB of memory left but had a loose charging port, or buy a brand new phone for which I have absolutely no need other than a functional charging port. The Apple Genius Bar rep was honest with me about all of my options, including the fact that third party repair services could replace my charging port because the part is still available. I heartily recommend Jet City Device Repair. They breathed some new life into my aging iPhone6s. Super friendly and efficient; the fix took just 10 minutes or so. Nice price, too. Go see them if your device is on the blink.
