Dr Steck did a total ankle replacement July 2020. He has a great bedside manner and is an excellent surgeon. My second post op my ankle was almost healed. I've had for Orthopedic surgeries in the last 4 years and his was absolutely the best. The only pain I had really had was the dang boot
I'm scheduled for surgery on Monday. So far I am extremely satisfied.. I've been an RN for 40 years.
I just had my pre-op visit with Dr. Steck. During our conversation he answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable going into the surgery in a few days. He went the extra mile and made sure the orthotic company had the correct shoe in stock for post surgery before I headed over there.
I have nothing but respect and admiration for Dr Steck. He has cared for my ankle since 2006. I came to him when no other orthopedic surgeons were willing to do a total ankle replacement because of a history of MRSA. He tested my ankle for infection and when he determined it was safe he proceeded with a total replacement. Now I have a stable functioning joint that moves naturally. I am extremely grateful to Dr Steck that I now have a normal lifestyle.

Dr. Steck listens to his patients and has empathy for their medical issues. He explains upcoming procedures thoroughly and clearly. In 2015 he performed a surgical procedure on my right foot, and now he will be performing the same surgery on my left foot. I had an excellent outcome the first surgery, and am confident this time will be just as successful. Anyone with foot/ankle issues requiring a surgeon would GREATLY benefit from having Jerome Steck as their surgeon.
I’ve been his patient since mid 2013. He’s replaced both my ankles, one ankle has been replaced a second time. I have nothing but admiration and respect for this doctor. I know he cares a great deal about my ankles and overall health. I also know the slightest problem I have, he will step up and fix things. He’s a dependable man, smart, dedicated and the best damn ankle surgeon.
Dr Steck is outstanding . He is patient, kind , sympathetic. Everything I could hope for in a medical professional. And he listens. I would recommend him to anyone searching for a great podiatrist .
