Do NOT use Dr JeffreyKessler! Please find someone else. He would have negative 5 stars if that was an option. He made a comment about us being late for the appt, when in fact we were early. He was very dismissive, referred us to 2 other specialist who literally told us "I cannot help you I don't know why he referred you here" then he did a quick exam and said that my daughter was fine, when in fact after having an ultrasound (requested by Physical Therapy)it turned out she was not fine her hip was dislocated and we had spent... read more

If I could give Dr. Kessler zero stars I would. We have never been treated so poorly by a doctor. He didn’t listen to our concerns and was completely dismissive and come descending. I would highly recommend scheduling an appointment with any other orthopedist in this practice so you don’t have the same experience as ours. Save yourself the copay.

He recommended a fusion surgery for my newly diagnosed child with scoliosis. He does not perform or is not knowledgeable about vertebral body tethering, a less invasive, anterior surgery to correct scoliosis. He discouraged us from pursuing anything aside from fusion surgery. My child had successful VBT on the east coast. I encourage families to seek this newer, less invasive treatment.
