Dr. Kessler has always been great treating our daughter since day one.We really are really great full having him as her personal orthopedic.
Dr. Kessler is a superb surgeon. He guided us through each step of my teenage boy’s surgery with respect, patience and kindness. We are eternally grateful to him.
Cannot recommend this doctor. He saw my son for cerebral palsy spasticity. He was hurried, dismissive and condescending. He had nothing to say or recommend apart from telling me my son should wear a brace. I regret wasting my time with him. When I wrote a negative review he wrote to me saying he didn’t want to be my son’s doctor and that I should find someone else.
45 mins late for our appointment, he did a poor job of examining my son before he claimed that he had 8 other patients to see, the abruptly left the exam room. Poor listening skills, dismissive and condescending. I cannot recommend him to anyone
In November 2022, my daughter was diagnosed with severe scoliosis. Her surgery to correct it was scheduled for July 2023. However, before the surgery, Dr. Kessler reviewed her X-rays and MRI and noticed a mass on her spinal cord. As a safety precaution, the surgery was postponed. In August 2023, we found out that it was a tumor on her spine, and she had to undergo surgery to have it removed in November 2023 by a different doctor. I’m immensely grateful to Dr. Kessler. He performed an outstanding surgery on my daughter to correct her scoliosis. As a parent, I was extremely frightened by the idea of having my daughter undergo surgery but Dr. Kessler guided us throughout the entire process, he answered all our questions and always made us feel at ease with his level of confidence; prior to the surgery, during the surgery and after the surgery. From the bottom of my heart, thank you very much Dr. Kessler..!!
Dr Kessler is that rare surgeon who has both amazing surgical skills AND equally amazing bedside manner(most surgeons don't have much of the second). The results of his spine surgery on our child were incredible, but his connection with our child was equally amazing. Do yourself a favor and seek out Dr Kessler if your child needs spine surgery.
Dr Kessler is the best of the best. Great surgeon, great communicator and great listener. We cannot recommend him more highly--he took great care of our daughter.
He is the happy place for our family. We know he is always there for my child, and always does what's best for her, whether it be in clinic or when he's operated on her. He's been my daughter's doctor for many years and has been incredible.
