Wouldn't stay anywhere else when coming to Wausau. The Inn is charming and the people so pleasant to deal with. The Housekeepers should give lessons to other hotels on how to care for a guests room. It's nice the City Grill is accessible through the lobby although with so much family in the area, we get a lot of home cooking. And it's quiet, oh so quiet!!! Actually, our stay was Dec 4-7, I just got around to posting pictures yesterday.

The staff was awesome! From booking the reservation to check out....customer service was foremost.. .the elevator that didn't work for a little didn't even take away from my stay....can't wait to go back
We stayed last night. As we were checking in, Kurt at the front desk said that he wanted to give us an upgrade. What an upgrade--we got upgraded to a suite with a jacuzzi tub, sitting area, and fireplace! It was a wonderful surprise as we celebrated our 8th anniversary.

I've never been treated by hotel staff the way that I was this morning. Rude, arrogant, uncaring, and seemingly unwilling to even begin to think of things from my point of view. I will NEVER book with them again.
