We had to take our 13 year old dachshund here last night. She was very sick but I expected/hoped that she would only need antibiotic and fluids. Her blood work came back and she was very sick. They were going to keep her and try to help her but she was just too sick. They were able to get us before we left and took us back and gave us a private room to hold our baby while she took her last breath. They gave us all the time we needed. RecommendedI was very pleased with the care my dog received last month for emergency services, both from the 2 different vets we saw & the staff. They tried to make my nervous & sick dog as comfortable as possible. The vet explained up front what the costs would be. Dr. Isherwood even called later in the day to explain that he had not forgotten to clip my dogs nails, he had decided not to because she was so stressed out.
