Submitted my outage ticket at 2117 Sunday night. That ticket was then deleted sometime this morning with supposed resolution. However, the power lines are still askew. I now have resubmitted my outage whilst it and the rest of my neighbors for the next 2 miles have no power and it is not shown on the outage map. I understand the Herculean task, but the poor management of the clerical end is quite frankly inexcusable. I support our linesmen and all field workers. Management, however, needs a wake-up call. Thank you for all you do. I know it will take time to recover from Irma, but you guys are busting ass to get power restored as quickly as possible. Much appreciated.
We had a drunk driver hit the power pole right in front of our house on Saturday night right before the hurricane was due to hit on Sunday. JEA had a crew on the scene within an hour of our call and had a new pole installed with power up and running within 4 hours. That's a 10 out of 10 in my book. Thank you for your dedicated efforts in all kinds of weather. Your services are greatly appreciated.
