Dr Holcomb performed reverse arthroplasty on my right shoulder Feb 2024 and did a great job. I healed very well and am much happier. He is a man of few words and soft spoken. Sometimes I find I have to ask many very pointed questions. But the surgery went well. After a slip in the shower in November 2024, I went back to see him for all too familiar pain in my other shoulder. Condensing pompous arrogant man. Doesn't put too much effort in to his appointments. Bad attitude.
My wife had surgery on her ankle and struggles with a mental illness. Marla was so mean to her when she called the office about getting more PT. I called back to talk to Marla about it and told her my wife has a mental illness. Marla said how was she supposed to know with out any apology. Marla is so heartless and how she still has job is beyond me. She could care less about my wife and what she is going through. Steer clear of this place and Marla!
Dr is great but Marlo the clinic nurse is terrible. My wife had ankle surgery and the pain meds are interfering with her psych meds. Marlo said it’s not their responsibility for knowing the drug interaction and that’s the pharmacies job. Talk to them. So I did and the pharmacist said the prescriber should know what they prescribe. The pharmacy also said the pain med should not have been prescribed along with the meds she’s already taking. I first saw him last Oct. because of severe shoulder pain. He said that X-ray was okay and that I had just a frozen shoulder. Cortizone shot decreased my pain then, but pain came back. I, not the doctor, demand MRI. this past July. The result was shocking; I had a rotator cuff tear. He casually said that I need surgery as soon as possible.
