Dr. Jason Reiss, D.O. performed my total hip replacement with an anterior approach 3 weeks ago with only 1 full day at Fawcett Memorial Hospital. Was absolutely pain free upon my discharge home, and, never needed any pain medication. I have returned to my previous quality of life quickly with a new joint that is functioning normally! Dr. Reiss did my right total hip surgery 2 weeks ago using the anterior approach. I could not be more pleased. I have had no hip pain after surgery. I walked with no pain a few hrs after surgery. I am now back to driving and am independent again. I certainly am singing his praises. He is the Best!!! Excellent care from their outpatient physical therapy too. Plus their office staff are very efficient. Thank you Dr. Reiss . I am so happy to be able to walk normally and without pain.
Dr. Reiss did my left knee in March of 2015 and now right hip. He is a dedicated and gifted surgeon. I had a root canal once that was worse than his hip replacement. 3 days after surgery brief shopping trip, 5 days out music concert, off pain drugs and driving one week out. Knees are much tougher than a hip using the anterior method.
Dr Reiss replaced my total left hip joint 1 year ago. I am 72 and was walking a mile a day after only 2weeks and was back playing golf after 3 weeks. I was driving after1 week. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Reiss and his entire team and the staff @ Fawcett hospital.
Dr Reiss replaced both my right knee and hip in 2017 and my left hip in 2018. As a result I am now (Nov 2018) totally pain free for the first time in 3 years. In Sept my husband and I left on a 2 moth cruise to Alaska, Asia and Hawaii, during which I was able to tour (climbed the Great Wall of China), participate in activities throughout the ship (played basketball and danced a lot!), and enjoy fully the entire experieince. Thank you Dr. Reiss - you are THE BEST
I had a hip replacement done by Dr. Reiss on 10/18/17. It was the best thing I’ve ever done. I have no more pain or discomfort in my leg. The surgery also got rid of my sciatica pain, which I could not believe. I was only in the hospital 1 night. Dr. Reiss is a very kind and caring person and a wonderful doctor. I would definitely recommend him.
Dr. Reiss did a hip replacement on me this past Feb. I was in so much pain before the surgery, I had to walk with a walker. I was walking 2 weeks after my surgery without a walker or a cane. I am doing wonderful! Would highly reccomend Dr. Reiss!
Hip replacement was a big success. Very caring & excellent bedside manner. I sing his praises to friends.
