Very Nice Work – Sweet, friendly staff, nice color job for a brunette. My highlights didn't work out the first time and had to be redone, but they were very accommodating and took their time to get me the best results both on the first visit and the correction visit. Very nice colors and good service.

A GOOD HAIRCUT – got a great haircut here - i have seen both veronica and jennifer and both were professional, did a good job and was a pleasnt atmosphere overall a good experience and reasonably priced

Great With Curly Hair – I have always had a difficult time finding a stylist who could provide my curly hair with a cut that grows well or highlights that look natural. This has been a difficulty even at salons that cater to curly hair. Janet has been providing haircuts and highlights for me for about eight months. I have never felt as good about my hair and have never received so many compliments on it.

incredible hair stylist – the entire experience was lovely, she and her staff get along like a bunch of friends which really put me at ease, it was a very relaxed comfortable enviroment. more importantly - i left with the best haircut i've ever gotten. i absolutely loved the look she gave me that day and weeks later when it had grown out it looked even more fabulous. i continue to get compliments two months later and i tell all my friends to go to janet's. i can't wait to go back and see what she does for me next!!

Loren gives great brunette! – I've had my nearly black but graying hair colored twice by Loren, who suggested some subtle highlights, jto give more texture and life. I'm a very low maintenance, no-fuss kind of person who hates spending extra time in the chair, but I was totally convinced when I saw the results: shiny, rich, vivid but subtle, flattering color. Great haircut & highlights! – I recently went to this salon where I had an amazing cut by Eugene and color from Janet. My highlights were in serious need of help (the blond had turned to orange) but Janet was very thorough and spent the time to repair. Eugene listened to all of my concerns and I was very happy with the results; he created a much more flattering but still natural look. I would highly recommend!!!

Janet Rufin's Parlor Rocks! – I have been to a bunch of salons to get my hair cut & highlighted, but it was not until yesterday that I found someone to take the time to discuss what I wanted & what goals I wanted to achieve. Janet is the Best Blond Hair Colorist in NYC!! – Since I moved to NYC three years ago, I struggled to find a good hair colorist, until I found Janet!!
