Dudes Like Good Haircuts Too~ – I dropped into this place because I live nearby and had gotten three weird haircuts in a row. By chance I was paired with John, one of their stylists. Best Blow-Out in the City! – I was in search of a new salon and stylist - cut, color. I went to Janet's and tested the salon with a wash and blow-out . To my suprise, it was the best and most affordable one i have ever had! I have now been going for a year and get all of my color (blond) and cuts done. They are amazing - everyone is incredibly knowledgeable about color - Janet is a trainer for one of the color lines i found out - and very friendly. This is a hidden gem! I think this is one of the best salons in NY!
Excellent Color – I am extremely picky when it comes to my color. I've been have been getting blonde highlights for over ten years so when I went to Janet for the first time I knew exactly what I was looking for in a good colorist. Best Blond – It took me 5 years of living in NYC to find the best blond colorist in the city. After going to the "top" very expensive salons and getting horrible brassy or yellow color, my friend (who has been going to Janet for 10 years) gave me her inside tip. Best color. Best staff – Tried this place after reading allure. Janet gave me the absolute best color I have ever gotten. I have been to several salons and never left with such a satisfied feeling. People are already complimenting me. Janet explained every detail perfectly and I actually learned a lot about my hair. I am going next week for a cut to see Eugene and can't wait.
Best hair coloring experience – I?ve been to many salons but could never find everything I was looking for in one place: A perfectly selected color for me, products that won?t dry even more my already parched hair, great service & pleasant atmosphere with a personal touch (that glass of wine was really needed after a long business day). John is great! – Fantastic experience! You will walk out absolutely satisfied. John is excellent hairstylist, with his pair of hands and scissors he will change your look 360 degrees. Plus he is really friendly and can talk literally about anything. Go Johnny!
Finalllllyy...first time in over 20 years I leave a salon happy! – I came in to correct a hideous highlight job I had done out of boredom at another salon that will not be named! I explained to Karen what I had in mind and she quickly put together a color that not only covered the copper streaks, but looked really natural and simply pretty. Everyone at the salon was very sweet and friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy working with one another. I liked the vibe.
Love this Place! – I first came here as a brunette wanting to go blonde. After a thorough consultation with Janet, she proceeded with highlights. It is very clear that her goal is to send her clients out of the door as happy with their hair as they could possibly be.
