We just moved from Cape Cid MA and were in need of a dentist. After searching the Internet for reviews about dentists in Torrance area, we came across Dr James W Mellert, DDS. We called on a Friday and got a Monday appointment. In the hall and reception area we were greeted with a good morning and a warm welcome. The office provides a warm and comfortable setting. I've been in search of a excellent dental hygienist. I've found Janis who is excellent, patient, skillful and thorough in her work. She gives a very detailed cleaning.
I've been a patient of Dr. Mellert for over 20 years. He and his office have always been very professional, knowledgeable, and has always been considerate with every dental problem I've had -- which has run the gamut from simple cavities, crowns, extractions, and implants. I have referred friends to him and they have been pleased with the dental care received.
Dr Mellert & Dr Brown and the entire staff have provided Consistent care and concern for our family's dental needs over many years. I would not consider any other provider.
Since going to Dr. Mellert and Dr. Brown I no longer fear going to the dentist, and that is huge for me. The office and staff are wonderful!!! Expert and excellent work is their work ethic. Try this office and you'll never switch dentists again.

Great Dentist and friend for over 30 years.
I always have a lovely visit to the office of Dr Mellert. Most of us do not lie the dentist, and when I leave there I always wonder why! My hygienist is Gigi and is wonderful and a friend, but all of his hygienist are cab able and friendly. I had a cavity, and Dr Brown was able to take me immediately and his work was skilled and before you know it, I was done! Plus th view out the window in the new office is lovely.
