Cole had braces put back on today. Although this was phase 2 for him, his anxiety about it was through the roof. Dr. Scarborough and Lynn were so sweet and patient with him, and never made him feel badly about being nervous and stressed. I seriously wanted to hug them both and bake them cookies. Shoot, maybe I will! By the time we left, he was all smiles, and excited about his frozen yogurt, new t-shirt, and goody bag. Thank you, James River Orthodontics, for going above and beyond today. This mama is grateful. <3
The new office is as beautiful as the staff! In the words of my 10 year old son, "it's always fun to visit their office." And this was before the new location, where they have iPads available to play and a frozen yogurt machine to enjoy after your visit!
I always have a good experience. Everyone is very friendly, any questions or concerns I have are always addressed. The atmosphere makes you feel very welcome.

Karl just got his braces off today. He had a severe underbite and I was sure it would include surgery. 10 month later he looks awesome! Johanna just for her first braces today. They are all so nice and friendly at JRO.
From our initial visit through two and a half years of orthodontic treatment for our daughter, we have been beyond pleased with every aspect of James River Orthodontics, Dr. Scarborough and his staff. Eva just got her braces off, and her teeth are perfect! They were very crooked at the start, and while two other prominent orthodontists recommended extracting 4 teeth (which I did not want), Dr. Scarborough found a way to not have to do this. I love JRO – You get the best of both worlds with them ~ Great Service and Great Atmosphere. I can’t think of a better place to have gone for my daughter’s and me.
