When I knew it was time for a total knee replacement I requested an appointment with Dr. Cameron because he had replace my sisters' knee 3 years ago and she highly recommended him. I would highly recommend Dr James Cameron and his staff to anyone facing knee replacement. Patewood Hospital was great, such a nice staff at this hospital also.
Dr Cameron and staff were very friendly and sensitive to the patient needs. All steps and timelines were clearly provided and all questions/concerns answered. Was very happy after the surgery. No pain. Did not need to use any of the pain medications. Highly recommend anyone thinking of hip replacement surgery to use Dr Cameron.
I’m grateful that Dr. Cameron was my surgeon for hip replacement. From pre surgery to post surgery, he was informative, caring, and attentive. He and his staff are exceptional. I highly recommend Dr. Cameron as a surgeon for his skill and meticulous patient care. As a person over 75 years old, he lessened my apprehension about surgery and recovery.
Dr James Cameron is a very personable and caring doctor. His orthopedic work is top notch and his bedside personality is fun and he took note of my personal hobbies and remembered them months later. Would highly recommend.
I am a 71 year-old male. I've now had two total knee replacements performed by Dr. Cameron over the last three months. Thus far, my operative experience, my rehabilitation, and my results have greatly exceeded my expectations. i had total knee replacement done by Dr. Cameron on December 1, 2021. I was released the next morning to go home with therapy scheduled at my home for first several weeks. Day one I experienced no pain - was pleasantly surprised at the outcome. I continued with therapy and continued to improve daily. No real pain, was able to walk upstairs and continue my daily routines without any problems. Dr Cameron came highly recommended. Not only from local recommendations but opinions from the orthopedic department of the Medical University of SC. His ability to communicate my hip replacement procedure and what to expect put me at ease. His support staff was professional, courteous and answered all my questions. If you are looking for a surgeon who is at the top of his game look no more he should be your surgeon of choice.
Dr. Cameron has great bedside manner. He truly listens to you. I would tell everyone with knee problems to please go see him.
Dr. Cameron was faced with a challenge with my teenage daughter’s hip. He performed her hip replacement with great care and took much time and attention to detail. I couldn’t ask for a better, more concerned, surgeon.
