Dr. Cameron was very professional and kind. In the approximate 1.5 years preceding the knee surgery, I went thru a series of 'gel' injections.... but their effectiveness was limited and over the time reduced. I finally came to the conclusion that surgery was the next step. Over this period, Dr. Cameron was attentive and explained the knee situation as it was. Dr. Cameron replaced my right hip, and I highly recommend him and his team. From my initial visit through the surgery and the post-surgery follow up, I was pleased with how professional the interactions were and the attention given to my concerns and/or questions. Post operation pain was minimal, and I was off pain meds within two weeks of surgery. The entire hip replacement process exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Dr. Cameron.
Dr. Cameron was very straight forward, sincere, and informative. Knee replacement surgery went great, I over nighted in hospital, and went home next day. I could not have asked for a better procedure.

I had a complete hip replacement and could not have hoped for a better medical experience. Dr. Cameron and his team were professional, thoughtful, and responsive. From pre-op to surgery to recovery to physical therapy, I felt confident in the recommendations and advice I received. I highly recommend Dr. Cameron and the staff at Steadman Hawkins.After 8 weeks, I have been able to return to my normal active routine. I can't thank them enough!!
Professional personable qualified
Dr. Cameron completed a total knee replacement for me on May 3rd. I opted to go with a "custom made" knee manufactured by Conformis. At this point, 8 weeks post op my results have been great. I am 65 and in otherwise good health. I was back to doing yard work after 6 weeks, weed eating, planting shrubs and small trees. This is being done on a somewhat limited basis and my my energy/stamina levels are still somewhat low, but I have been very pleased with my recovery so far. Dr. Cameron was very honest with me prior to surgery, warning me of possible complications due to the extensive damage related to arthritis, which was progressing rapidly. He gave this 76-year-old so much hope, which resulted in a very positive outcome. His surgical skills are exceptional, and his bedside manner is very helpful.
Dr Cameron replaced my left knee which had been a problem since an accident 50 years ago. I was concerned that since I only had 90 degree bend , that I would get a little less after surgery. Dr Cameron spent extra time removing spurs, & now after therapy I have 130 degree bend. Great job Doc! Highly recommend you!!!!!!
