As everyone has said, he's great! He listens, he is patient, he explains, he is kind, he believes you, he's thorough, and he has a sense of humor.
I have 2 hip replacements in 2021. Both were cake walks. Dr. Cameron is highly recommended by me.
Dr. Cameron is one of the best physicians I have encountered in my lifetime. He clearly explained the ramifications of my arthritic hip and kindly and patiently answered my long list of questions. YES! Very knowledgeable, excellent surgeon, kind and caring.
I've been a patient of Dr. Cameron for awhile. He has always been honest with me and has helped me get to where total hip replacement could be achieved with as little to no health issues. I am a diabetic and am overweight. I had surgery April 19, 2021 and here I am 9 weeks later in better health and little to no pain. My hip was completely wore out and the pain was bad. All I can say, is my first of two knee replacements was PERFECT! To have a straight leg with NO pain is unbelievable. Could not be more pleased with Dr. Cameron, his staff, and the hospital staff of PRISMA at Patewood. Back for round two soon.
I had my first knee replacement with Dr. Cameron in 2018. Had my second knee replacement March 2021. I now have a perfectly matched pair. Staff, hospital and Dr. Cameron stellar. ATI staff impressed with 120 degree bend at first therapy session. Had 2 sisters-in-law and brother-in-law have knees replaced by supposedly world famous doctors in Chicago. Their recoveries from surgery, medicines and physical therapies all too way longer than mine. Grateful for the great care I received.
Left hip replacement surgery was great from diagnosis to surgery to therapy. Joint camp set the table well. Night nurse did not know how to lengthen the hospital bed. (Not the drs. fault) ATI therapy was great segue back to real life.
