My dad, William Childers was in the hosp. with very serious medical problems. Dr. Elsey was on of our Doctors caring for him. It was a very emotional time for us with it being touch and go at times. Dr. Elsey was very direct & to the point in helping us understand the seriousness of the situation & the medical Plan of action that he felt was best. As a surgical nurse I appreciate the medical knowledge & wisdom given. He showed such compassion & concern like we were family. Highly recommended

I was very please with Dr. Elsey. He said he would take good care of me and he did just that. Made me feel very comfortable in knowing that he is a very competent surgeon with years of experience.
Dr. Elsey removed my gallbladder back in November of this year. I went in for a consultation and had it out the next day! I've never had a big surgery like that before, never been cut open. I was very scared but Dr. Elsey and his staff made me feel quite comfortable. I healed quickly and will have very minimal scaring due to Dr. Elsey's amazing stitch work. Highly recommended!
Dr. Elsey was very professional, warm and personable. I met him briefly for an emergency appendectomy and he reassured me several times that he would take good care of me and that all would be well. My follow up with him post surgery was great also. Again, he was very personable and caring. His staff in the office was professional and courteous.

The staff were top notch professionals. They were excellent care givers. Dr. Elsay was warm, accessible, and thoroughly answered all my questions. He has excellent bedside manner, and was reassuring throughout the pre-surgery and post op processes.
I couldn't have asked for a more competent surgeon or staff. I highly recommend Dr. Elsey. He is also very friendly, personable and I felt he genuinely cared about me. My only issue is that he could have spent more time with me initially and now and then during rounds to help me feel more informed about my condition and what to expect next. I would not hesitate to let him operate on me again. Just write your list of questions down and have them handy when he comes by. Thanks Dr. E!
