My first time meeting him, and I was so impressed. With his knowledge, and willingness to listen to me, and look at my old scans. If he’d said “you need surgery right away”, I would have scheduled it right then. That’s how comfortable I was with him. He explained his impressions and thoughts to me till both myself and my husband understood. Plus, a genuinely nice man! And, I felt very comfortable in the office.
Total loss of hope is what I walked away with. I was sent by my orthopedic surgeon to Dr. Buckner for a second opinion as he is supposedly "the best." I'm sure he is based on his education, practice and confidence in my own doctor. Unfortunately my appointment was beyond disappointing. He gave no help or hope that anything could be done for my chronic pain. I do realize that I may be at the end of the road for options, but I felt so hopeful going in. Dr Bruckner was very knowledgeable and educated about my hip condition. He discussed my options, gave me exercise suggestions and presented me with the facts and options I had. He wis friendly polite and professional. I am glad I have established care wit him.
He answered all of my questions & was very friendly & reassuring. I learned a lot about my condition & felt so much better afterwards.
Dr. Bruckner is the only orthopedist for me. 4 joint replacements with perfect results. He tells it like it is, so I pay serious attention.
Great, able to walk again
I had my 2nd knee replacement with Dr. Bruckner just over a year ago & am doing extremely well thanks to his skill & compassion. God bless him. He told me I needed to lose weight for the success of my first knee replacement, which I did & he was extremely supportive. His surgical skills, communication skills and compassion are excellent. He actually takes the time to listen to his patients & answer their questions. His professionalism is also top-notch. I would recommend him to anyone needing hip &/or knee replacement. One of the Office staff was rude. After a considerable wait to ask a simple question, I attempted to go back thru the door I had just come out to where Bruckner’s staff sat. I was reprimanded by a dark haired woman in a voice like a police officer. To the point where a nearby 5 yr old raised his book over his nose with just his eyes peering out at the “criminal”.
Dr. Bruckner is an amazing person and a brilliant surgeon. His skills as a doctor and vast knowledge of healing the body and body structure is untouchable. He is calm and he listens to you. He is a truly caring individual with precision and grace. I trust him to operate on my body and I am grateful for his experience and expertise.
