The staff was really helpful and kind. The doctor was incredible and we felt that we were in very good hands. He shows he cares which is not something you can say about a lot of medical care in today's society.

Dr. Mattax performed my PRK procedure one week ago and I would recommend him and his office to anyone. Dr. Mattax took time to explain the procedure and try to make me comfortable. I truly feel that he cares about my outcome. Everyone in the office is extremely professional.

When I arrived for my intro appointment with Dr Mattax, I was obviously scared but the assistant who did my exam had a very calming presence. She also did a very thorough exam.Dr Mattax was also very gracious and took care to thoroughly explain my vision problem and details of the procedure. Everyone in their office was very kind. I left feeling much more confident. I am now actually looking forward to my surgery. I would very highly recommend them to anyone.

I had surgery approximately 15 years ago and my eyes are still perfect. I can read perfectly and see far away. In March I will be 65. I'm so glad I had this surgery when I did. At the time they asked me if I wanted to have one eye for reading and one eye for distance. I said no ,do them both the same, and yet they've adjusted by themselves and I am thrilled with the results.

Dr. Mattax is the best! He is thorough, caring, friendly and always teaching and explaining throughout the examination or procedure. He has been my ophthalmologist for more than twenty years and I feel blessed to be his patient. I recommend him highly and without reservation.
