So I’ve got a story about this little shop. One of my best friends was diagnosed with cancer and my friend and I went to Halifax to visit him and his wife. We wanted to pick up flowers for her and so we stopped in Jake’s Florist as it was near his house on our way in. Jake’s was closed for a wedding they were doing, but we ran into the owner as he was leaving. He apologized for being closed but asked us the occasion. My daughter purchased a basket arrangement for Mothers' Day, can't imagine what she paid. It arrived Wednesday morning around 12:30. Friday afternoon around 3:00 one entire flower head fell off and the rest of the flowers were croaking for water. It had the flowers in a sponge so I added water to the center of the sponge - all over the table immediately! Felt inside, there was a plastic liner so I don't know what happened. I would not recommend.

Been there 4 times for chocolates and they're the best in the city if you ask me. They import them from somewhere across the pond, I believe the middle east.
