Since both have experienced backgrounds in the culinary industry, they decided to buy it and give Jake's a bit of an update. The food was amazing! We went there with our whole family at their new location at The Mills in Amherst. The space is bright and open, with a great personal feel. It reflects the history of the Sawmill that was so close by with pictures from it's history. The food as always was amazing. We had pancakes for the kids which they devoured. I had a side of hash and the pork belly Benedict both of which were full of great flavor. My wife had french toast and eggs which she adored. It was a great experience at the new location!

The eggs absolutely were disgusting they basically looked and tasted like mush never go there again

Jake's has been a favorite for years. Kind of a spur of the moment decision to stop in for Mother's Day brunch. Only a short wait but worth it. Great hash of the day featuring smoked salmon. Perfectly cooked eggs, friendly and efficient service. Great place for breakfast.
