This job involved replacing a 32-year-old indoor heat pump air handler that had rusted and was leaking condensate on warm humid days. Because of its age, and the outdoor unit being about 10-years-old, finding an air handler that could operate with older refrigerant is an issue. John recommended a Trane unit that can easily switch between older and newer refrigerants.
