No bad experiences, but I almost always plan ahead as much as possible. This time I needed a referral and got in for an appt in a timely
Dr Hornell has been my doctor for few years now he has been great explaining everything to me and is very responsive to questions. He is very knowledgeable, pleasant to see and is easy to talk to. The receptionist in the Pasco location on the other hand is rude and grumpy and could use some coaching on how to receive and talk to people. Her demeanor does not ease my way.
Not thorough, gets you in and out, does not help at all in terms of avoiding health risks like heart attack.
Four month wait to get an appointment. Going somewhere else.
Dr. Hornell comes in with a smile and is friendly however dose not listen to you when you speak. The nurse spends more time with you than he does and after the nurse asks all the questions he comes in and did not even read the notes she already had. Then is surprised after making a recommendation of treatment as if I only had this condition for a few weeks and I tell him it has been a issue for 8 years he back tracks then not to look stupid goes with the same recommendation with no confidence!
Dr Hornell listens to my issues and follows through. I have been very pleased with his actions in response to my health concerns.
I like Dr. Hornell. He has been my primary care Dr. for 3 years, during which I have experienced some relatively significant health issues requiring treatment. His bedside manner is fun and takes the edge of the experience, and he takes the time to ensure I understand the treatment. I get that he has a sense of humor and not everyone likes that in a physician, but I highly recommend him to all my friends and family seeking a solid primary care guy.
Very poor service, poor staff, takes forever & tons of phone calls just to get stuff done
My first impression of this guy was great. He's got a very fun personality, and seemed interested in my family's healthcare. But after a few visits, I realized he's all talk. He doesn't answer questions, he oversimplifies it to the point he's not even answering me, just being condescending. But seems super friendly while he's doing it. Not good.
