Awesome place. Took great care of us, a group of 12, passing through for lunch. Very accommodating, even turned on the train in the restaurant for the kids.

We stayed in the red caboose and absolutely loved it. We came for skiing and snowshoeing; we were not disappointed. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. We were very happy with the meals we had in the lodge.

Been here twice, both times during the summer. Fantastic! Hopefully I can get out there sometime during a winter.

The Lodge is a combination of a homey, old fashioned resort atmosphere and the delights of well-groomed cross country ski trails. The food was truly exceptional, the best holiday meals ever. When you combine this with a truly hospitable and helpful staff, it has become the only place I would go for the holidays.

A very quaint hotel. Lots of history, Rustic. The rooms are small but well furnished. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, the location is lovely, if you enjoy cross country skiing they have plenty of trails. The bar and restaurant staff were pleasant and conversational. The food was great. We got a deal with Groupon and enjoyed our weekend there. We have been the last two summers with our little boy. If you like trains it a must see. The food good and service was great in August. The GN 441 is worth the money. The bed is a good nights sleep. We wake smiling with a very happy 4 year old.
