A hot day on the outdoor deck...watching boats, ships, float planes...an excellent server...all served up with wine & food. It's a great time in the great pnw!
Best place for clam chowder I go there whenever I am in Seattle.
They need to stop printing on the bill that they changed their menu pricing to include service. Shame on Ivar's for throwing their problem with paying fair wages into the face of their customers at the expense of their hardworking employees.

Bon appetite and bon voyage! Mur C ;-) My first eatery when arriving to Seattle. Superstar service at all locations that i have eaten inside or outside! I live on 42nd and Roosevelt in the U district of University of Washington and walk to gas works park the eat at Ivars. Loving and caring people and atmosphere too. I love Seattle and the diverse people and cultures. Now off to more site seeing adventures in Seattle, aight !
They have the best smoked salmon chowder you must try it !!!!
Some of the best food I've ever had, highly recommend
Service is horrible. There can be hardly any customers in the restaurant and you feel like you wait forever to just get a drink. You will see people be seated after you and get their order before you do. Even drink orders. And the price of their food has gone up. The food isn't always that great tasting. Many times the fish is dry.
