Good burgers, Very filling – They make a fine burger, massive and juicy. Get a side of curly fries with some ranch dressing for that extra bit of arterial bliss, followed by a trip to the doc for angioplasty...ENJOY!
Good food, at good prices – Just went to Islands yesterday. I was happy with their wide variety of selection and I thought their prices were fairly set.
Great burgers, fun place to hang out – I really enjoyed going here with friends although it was hard to not pay attention to the cool surfing videos in the background. the burgers are great - have it on a wheat bun, and try either the hawaiian or the bbq. and don't forget cheese fries!
Good times, good food – This restaurant always has a friendly waiting staff and prompt service. The food is cooked well and we always end up having a good time. No complaints.
A Southern California staple! – Many of my adolescent nights were spent at Islands with friends. It's a very popular restaurant among residents of the Pasadena area. It's one of those restaurants that everyone can agree on because they serve classic all-American food in a playful atmosphere.
Islands...they should build a bridge... – Islands in the stream, that is what we are. No on in between, how can wee be wrong. Sail away with me, to another world, and we rely on each other, uh-huh.....from one lover to another, uh-huh
Great customer service – This place has an awesome atmosphere. The wait time was rather long, but our server made up for it tremendously. She was extremely helpful and very friendly. The cheese fries were great and my burger was one of the juiciest I've tasted.
I love Islands – Really what can you say...the parrots hanging from the ceiling, the palm trees in the corners and the fantastic tropical music in the background. if you don't feel like you're in a tropical paradise that serves burgers then...well...maybe your not. But this place has great burgers although adding a 1.50 for a side of bacon totally sks, but then I guess you have to pay the rent somehow
Terrible! Why Would Anyone in So Cal Eat A Burger Here!? – So Cal is home to some of the finest hamburger establishments in the US. We have In N Out, Fatburger, The Apple Pan, Hamburger Habit; all inexpensive high quality burger joints worthy of a letter home to Mom. If you want a good solid burger at a place with more diverse food options, please do not go to Islands.
