Slower than a sloth when it comes to admitting patients, on 11/18/18 have been waiting for almost 8 hours for my dad to be admitted, he has been here since 7 am, there are plenty of beds, patients coming to ER after my father were already admitted and sent upstairs, this is not the way to run a hospital.
Waited in the ER for 4+ hours to get results back on an X-ray and the nurses where extremely rude the entire time. Shout out to the red head receptionist in the ER as she is extremely kind and welcoming, she was the ONLY one who was respectful to me while everyone else acted like everyone was there wasting their time. Won’t be choosing my Primary physician here, and wish the nurses would have more compassion for their patients.
Island hospital is the best
The best care I ever had.
Incredible, compassionate care! Could not have been better! Staff in all departments I encountered from housekeeping up through the tiers of people required to make IH a great care facility were helpful and competent. So proud of our community care center. I hope the administration appreciates their staff.
