This was our first time , we arrived at 4:15 and was told the wait would be an hour to an hour and a half and my husband said really? The guy standing there was sarcastic and said "no we're joking". My husband and I went to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary.We knew we would have to wait and it sure was worth it! What a great little find in the woods!!! The grounds were beautiful and the view of the lake was exquisite. The little log cabin gift shop was especially fun. We found a few treasures to take home. Had to wait 2 hours to get seated, but the wait was worth it. Had chicken cordon bleu and butterflied prawns and both were great. The sweat potatoes were more like a dessert! Good selection of drinks too.

Always had been pleased with Ishnala until this last time. Salad n potato seemed smaller n prime rib was not tender like previous visits. Will not b back.
We have had the pleasure of eating here many times over the last several years and we have never, never had a bad meal or service. We have had to wait several times but that is part of the experence. You sit at the bar, enjoy the beautiful lake and have a great drink. Expensive? Yes but well worth it.

My wife and I had been wanting to try Ishnala for a couple of years. When we got there we were told there would be a 2.5 to 3 hour wait. Since we made a special trip to eat there so we waited. The staff was friendly but didn't seem to have any sense of urgency but once we sat down the service was very good and the food came out quickly. The food itself was unremarkable.
