First, I find it mildly amusing that Ishnala addresses the positive reviews but not the negative ones. With that said, I don't expect a reply. ;) We dined at this establishment on Saturday, October 21st at about 4pm. The reason for choosing this particular restaurant is because my husband had been talking about it for years. His parents used to take him there years ago(45+ years). So, he wanted to reminisce. We tried Ishnala last night for the first time and honestly i dont understand what the big deal is. We waited 3 hours to be seated and the food was average. After waiting that long I expected that the food would be amazing since there were flocks of people. Perhaps Ive been spoiled at other restaurants with better food, less money and shorter wait times. Ishnala is an experience. The above 5 star food is the best you will ever find. The staff is brilliant . Anyone that lives close enough to enjoy a visit to Ishnala make it plan to do so you will never regret it.

It was lovely! The service and the food was wonderful. I would love to see a seafood appetizer other than shrimp cocktail. The duck appetizer was truly just fancy chicken nuggets.
