The place is beautiful and the drinks are good. The parking and wait times are crazy! We were in the bar for a drink and surprised to see a 8 and 10 year old sitting at the bar with numerous older people waiting for seats. Most places we have been don’t let kids sit at the bar—this would be a good policy for this busy place! These children could have easily stood by or behind their parents—it just didn’t sit well. I suggest getting there early, but it is busy even at opening!!

We came here to celebrate both of our birthdays over this past weekend. The entire time we were there we were amazed not only by view from the deck but also by the ambiance of the restaurant itself. Food was amazing, we enjoyed some cheese curds before digging into our Filet Mignon 😍 Best dinner experience! Can't wait to come back here again!

Great dining experience. First come first serve but that only allows one to take in the atmosphere and enjoy all the area has to offer.

Best filets hands down. Between the food and the service my wife and I have not had a bad experience here once. Also has amazing dinner atmosphere with overseeing the water like it does.

We heard about this beautiful place by suggestion and we are very glad we chose to come here. From the moment you turn onto the driveway and go through the woods on a windy road you get the feeling you're in for a treat. The woods open up to a parking lot next to a small cabin with the restaurant in the background on the shores of Mirror Lake. Went up to Ishnala for my brother's birthday the food was awesome but the two and a half hour wait was ridiculous. This is the first time I've been up there in almost 50 years so I wasn't going to leave I wanted to stay for my memories. Our parents used to take us up there when we were young and it was fun to see the things hadn't changed especially the wonderful food. My brother has been up there a few times since and said he's never seen the amount of people that were there for Saturday nights dinner service
