Staff was quick and helpful and the doctor was very thorough
Always a pleasure to see Dr Dalena and his staff
She may be a great doctor for others - but she spent less than 5 minutes with me, seemed to chalk up that I was healthy simply due to my young age, didn't ask me any questions about my health concerns, and seemed to be in a rush to get out of my appointment. I let her know I was concerned about possible hip issues, to which all she did was write a referral to another doctor. If you are a younger patient looking for a professional to hear your concerns and address any questions, she is not the doctor for you.

Has a game plan and caring
Dr. Dalena is a consummate professional. I would never have a gastrointestinal procedure performed by any other doctor. Not only is he skilled, but he is personable, kind and gentle. I travel 60 miles to maintain him as my gastrointestinal physician. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Dr. Dalena has always been there for me. I lost my Sigmoid Colon years ago and he found ways to help me with some issues. He talks to you in a kind and respectful way. It also helps me in that he is upbeat. Just had my colonoscopy yesterday, and all staff were kind and talked to you as a person. Dr. Dalena gave me a hug, and said all is good. I also received the write up to give to my internist. Received my text this morning to ask how I am. I feel great. Thank you Dr. Dalena & Staff!
Informative and kind
Dr. Dalena got me through a very difficult period when I was diagnosed with esophagus cancer. He was compassionate and was very clear outlining next steps. After my first follow-up endoscopy, he proclaimed 'this is amazing - it's like the cancer never happened'. After the second follow-up endoscopy, he proclaimed 'this is nothing short of a miracle'. Whatever happens going forward, I'm very fortunate to have Dr. Dalena as my provider. He evokes a true sense of confidence and hope.
