We were very pleased with the efficient work done by Matt Swaim of Iowa Home Consulting. Matt adjusted a heavy double door joining a fireplace room and an outside deck that had over time shifted to the point where closing the door was very difficult. Matt arrived as promised, was attired taking appropriate safety precautions made necessary by the current COVID-19 situation. We have called on Iowa Home Consulting for projects before and will continue to do so. (Don and Mary Ellen Wishart)

This is the second time we used Iowa Home Consulting and they are great to work with. They rebuilt an entryway to my home. Their work was well-done, the workmen were polite and friendly and they were very careful to maintain appropriate social distancing during this weird pandemic time we are experiencing. I highly recommend them for any work you need done.

I needed unloading help from a moving pod into my home. I was on a tight schedule but the workers showed up early and immediately got to work unloading. They were courteous and professional and took care with my things. It was a cold snowy day and the ground was wet outside - they took the time to take off their shoes when entering my house. I was so pleased with the way they did the work. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to hire them again!

We have used Iowa Home Consulting in the past. The recent work they did for us was two small projects. One was to trim out a basement door and the other was to replace the water damaged bottom of the kitchen sink base cabinet. The work was done well and at a fair price. We elected to do some painting ourselves because we thought the quoted price was a little high. I never give a top ( 5 star) rating to anybody.

Had the entrance to my home remodeled because the original entrance was a concrete pad and stairs with no railing and they were falling apart. The new stairs are not only safer (added plus is that the design with an additional stair makes the entrance easier for young and old), but they are beautiful and add to the curb appeal of my house. We have used Iowa Home Consulting for several projects but never used them to paint before. The two young men who did our painting did an awesome job and they were very professional using care in moving things and cleaning up afterwards. Thank you!
