Dropped our Hyundai off to replace an engine. Replace an engine!! Had to pay a deposit before engine could be ordered. Ok, good business, no problem. Then a replacement key had to be ordered by another dealership, hear me well, ordered by another dealership and Interstate Hyundai wants to HOLD my car because the other dealership has not paid them!!! Caution Monroe, LA car buyers– 12 weeks to repair an engine! On July 19th, while traveling in Louisiana, the engine failed in my 2013 Hyundai Tucson. It had under 100K miles and one owner, I was confident this would be covered under the warranty and had it towed to Interstate Hyundai. It took them A WEEK, and me having to go in person, to find out the engine failed (something I told them day 1). They quoted me prices to repair. My little sister bought her first car from this place and the experience has been horrible. These people call and harass her every single day about filling out all this additional paperwork. The deal has been closed on the car. No one at this car lot can tell us why she keeps needing to fill out additional paperwork. Do NOT go to this place for a car.
