My best back wax ever!!!!!!!! – Let me say that as a straight single man in Philadelphia, it is difficult meeting a woman who is tolerant of back hair. best eyebrows – Emma is the best eyebrow waxer! I used to thread my eyebrows only but i've been going to emma for nearly 3 years now. I am terrified of going to anyone else for fear that they will uglify them. If you like fast service and a no-nonsense attitude then this is the salon for you.

It happened to me, too. – I got my five-minute wax from Emma the Crazy Sadist. I didn't care how unusually painful it was and how rude she was, because - hey - bikini wax in five minutes! Sweet! But then, when I also had the same credit-card experience, her sister Natasha yelled at me and accused me of trying to steal from them in front of a roomfull of patrons! fastest wax ever – Don't let the atmosphere fool you, when I went, the place was empty. However, I had the fastest and most fuss-free wax in my life. No chatting, just waxing. But, Who want's to have a heart to heart with their waxer? I just want to get in and get out. International salon is like that -- I'd recommend it to all my friends.

1st time Brazilian!!! – I was terrified to get the Brazilian wax, but this place truly is the best (as the owner will tell you...again & again! LOL! :-) It was so fast, and I don't have any pain. Also got a great manicure.

Will Never Go Back – Although Emma's brazilians have been named the best waxing bargain in the city, it's not worth the traumatic experience I endured. Her behavior during my wax was atrocious. She literally talked on the phone the entire time she was giving me my brazilian. No, she wasn't using a headset--she had the phone shoved between her shoulder and head as she was ripping off the wax. Wonderful Family Salon! – Emma, Natasha, Mama et al make this the most skilled, entertaining and best value for waxing and nails in the Rittenhouse neighborhood. I have been going to Emma for my brows for 4 months now & won't let anyone else touch them (everyone else makes them too thin). She's the best, and it's only $8!
