Traumatic experience – I went for a Brazilian bikini wax . This was my second visit to the salon and I have come home with blue-black marks along my inner thighs where the wax stuck and was yanked off mercilessly. best wax in the city! – The last wax I got was 2 years ago and I was terrified to ever get another one. A friend of mine told me to go to International Salon because they were quick, inexpensive, and painless.... this was all true. I was terrified to get a brazilian, but the wax itself took all of 2 minutes and only costs $35!!!! I will never go anywhere else!! Long time customer of International Salon. – As a long time customer of Emma's and International Salon, I want to rebuke the previous review. Emma is a registered nurse, and as a nurse, she needs to mention certain things to clients after they get Brazilian waxes. Quick & Dirty (and not in a good way) – I went here for the first time today, asking for a bikini wax. A bossy russian woman who I think is Emma (50's, short dark hair) decided she would give me a Brazilian, "only 5 dollars more", without really asking me. Great Brazilian – I've been coming here two years now and I have to say that i love getting my Brazilians and eyebrows done here- and no one really LOVES a Brazilian- ouch! But Emma and Natasha are quick and cheap. You just have to avoid going during peak traffic times, bc you may find yourself sitting there for a while. Best wax in Philly – Emma has been waxing my eyebrows for over 15 years and has been doing my bikini for over 4. She is quick and accurate. For the money why would you go anywhere else? The wait is worth the price. Don't come on a Friday after work and expect not to wait. She takes walk-ins only, no appointments. So sit and wait and be completely satisfied.
