The office put me on a path that cost me a couple hundred dollars more in my light bills over a few months. Our a/c unit went down in March and the office/ maintenance said that our blower board had burnt. They had *********'s Hvac come out to fix it. Our light bills started shooting up. The bill for March year ago was $94.60 and this year was $124.07. April was $90.21 year ago and $133.70 this year. May $96,30 then to $179.45. June $128..13/ $216.06 now. Horrendous as a Management Corporation (Intermark Management Corporation) who manages Apartment Complex Properties. In my opinion, we've had too many Managers too name and at times none. The Corporation located in Columbia, SC had never responded to any of my phone calls and voicemails left for a returned call. In my opinion, the only interest is to manage receiving Rent payments for the Owner and whatever ever is paid to them for Mismanagement and not Management of properties. I moved here in the ********** ******* apartments here in Concord. NC back in 2019. well the leasing agent left before repairs was done, now this new agent think she know more than you do. I have gave them two writing notice for repairs and still nothing has been done in my unit and its 2021, Carpet has not been changed in years, wall wasn't painted, rust in tub no stopper in bathroom sink as well, the up keep of the lawn is a hot **** mess it look like a ghost town here. don't even try to call the office listed, because you... read more

Wrote rent check on 4/2/2021, that haven't been deposited to date. The rogue Regional manager think that she is above the law. She don't like to admit her wrong doings, A lot of tenants checks have turned up missing since the regional manager's entrance to InterMark Management. The sad part is nobody is saying a word about the check ponzi scheme going on. She sent me an email verifying my rent was safe, but haven't said anything about the check. Where is it? 

Business response:

The brand new office manager accidently generated the late notices BEFORE rent was posted. After she realized what she'd done she let the residents know. No other resident complaints have been received. Ms. P******* was contacted by the Regional Manager and Director of Operations with an apology. Ms. P******* has no balance on her account and her rent check was deposited.

I would have to agree with the previous review. If there were a 0 that is what they would get. I live in a facility in Charlotte, NC., ****** ****** apartments. They were new when I moved in. I chose them because they were 55 and over. Not sure what the problem is with management and their own rules but this place does not get it. (1) no children and no outside occupants. Any time a resident has an unauthorized occupant in the home it is addressed by management. The resident referred to in the complaint as having an unauthorized occupant was given notice and eviction was filed. All of this happened prior to Ms. M*******'s move from the property. There is no dispute that the apartment was left "clean." However, any charges that are in excess of what is normal wear and tear is charged back to the former resident when they move. If I could give it 0 stars I would but I lived in Chesterfield Apt in Chesterfield SC for about 8 years and I have absolutely nothing positive to say about the property or Intermark Management Corporation. I strongly feel they just won't peoples money and do NOT care if the property is habitable or not. Intermark does not take complaints seriously. Management is lazy and unprofessional where I live. They do not enforce their own policies especially the smoke free addendum. This is a smoke free community where tenants are being allowed to smoke inside making non smokers ill. Management has favorites and pick and choose who they will retaliate against and who gets to continually violate the lease terms. Bad slum project. Bed bugs. Garbage all over property with inside rats. Repairs are seldom made and if made, never work. Broken heaters, broken a/c, broken hot water heaters, sewage coming through kitchen ceiling for years from apt next door. Mold everywhere. Poor management. Grass hardly ever cut. Pests control almost non existent. Rude staff that is never available because they file eviction notices all the time. Very prejudice towards white people. We've been staying at Coventry Green Apt's in Goose Creek, SC for awhile, recently moving into a new apartment room in the same complex. The staff here are wonderful, especially Kathy who is a great help and super friendly. The apartments are clean and nice and the neighbors so far, haven't been bad. They respond quickly and efficiently to correspondence, either through email or phone call and always have an answer when I have a question.
