I bought a very expensive policy last October via insure my trip, I've just been told by the carrier that I am not covered for covid 19 in the event my trip has to be canceled because I cannot fly there
Recommendedthis is a great service I have been using for years. I just today purchased my 12th policy through them. I have only filed one claim in all the years but it was great and almost completely hassle free. I cannot recommend this service high enough.
Improvement would require selling a product that actually has value. What's the point in purchasing insurance if the policy for claims makes it impossible to actually get a claim processed?
I was told by Matthew that you cannot get insurance for a forseeable event like losing your job. Really??? Unless you're purposefully fucking up at work or purposefully being late/never there, I highly fucking doubt ANYONE who has been fired knew before hand. Maybe if it was a temporary position. Ridiculous. Glad I won't be using.

They altered both my and my friend’s return date to be earlier than they should have been, leaving us having to purchase new coverage for a portion of our trip that should have been covered. Was told by an Allianz representative that they have had many issues stemming from purchases made through Insure My Trip. I will never use their service again.
