Received 2 emails stating “Confirmation of Coverage.” So far my claim for only $700 after submitting proof of my grandfather’s death was denied bc coverage wasn’t until a day later after the email stated I had coverage. Their emails contradicted the policy. Also they don’t consider attending your close family members’ funeral or memorial service technically as part of a death! Horrible experience. Countless emails providing them with documentation frm the cruise company directly canceling my trip due to covid but it never seems to be enough. There's always something new they require to cancel insurance on a trip that doesn't exist. I resorted to calling my cc company & disputing the charge.

Horrible, horrible service. I called and canceled my trip, went to the dr,have a dr note and they say that is not sufficient. What a rip off!

BEWARE! I'd suggest to shop elsewhere if you are looking for trip insurance. This company is a waste of your money and time. It's ridiculous that they can get away with doing business as they do. Pitiful business and complete disrespect for the people who bought into their hype.
So we bought the nationwide coverage through Insuremytrip.com for our upcoming cruise, well due to the pandemic, our cruise was cancelled by Carnival. I call the insurance # listed on the email, talked to a nice lady that gives me an email address to send my request for refund of my premium that I paid for my insurance that is no longer any good because there is no cruise, and I was told to email the letter that carnival emailed me along with the request. Be leery... paid for comprehensive trip insurance which the Insure My Trip rep said covered everything... “cancel for any reason”! Well, of course... have already been told by them and Nationwide Insurance, who the coverage is actually through, that this Pandemic is NOT covered. Ripped off by Insure My Trip and Nationwide Insurance. Have my Homeowners insurance through Nationwide too... will be finding a new company for that ASAP.
I understand that there is a lot of calls being made right now with questions about policies. However I was on hold last night for THREE hours and never got through to anyone. Earlier in the day, I had called from a different phone and put my number in the “automatic callback queue” and after FIVE hours and now into the next day I still have not received a call back.
