The staff here are amazing! Everyone was incredibly accommodating to my 7-month-old while I was seeing the doctor. They helped my mother (who was watching him in the waiting room) when she had to change his diaper, they showed him to a special waiting area and gave him toys to play with, and they even sent someone to find me and retrieve his diaper bag when I took it in to the doctor with me by accident. I visited this optical store in Halifax to purchase contact lenses, but I was refused service because my prescription did not specify a brand or the replacement schedule. I believe this is an unnecessary restriction and feels like an attempt to limit my freedom of choice. The brand and duration of contact lenses should not prevent a customer from purchasing lenses that match their prescription. This experience was disappointing and felt like an upsell rather than genuine customer care.
