Recent fires forced closures of the hiking trails across the road, but the park itself is in great shape!! They're in the process of building brand new outdoor bathrooms and showers..they look really nice!! Place is always kept clean, and Park Rangers are friendly. Water feels great for a +100° August day!!! — at Inks Lake State Park - Texas Parks and Wildlife.

Wonderful park for the camping family! There are restrooms and shower facilities conveniently located throughout the park. The store is a plus. Swimming, fishing, canoeing and so much more! Would recommend this park to anyone. Our family of 7 visits at least 10X a year!

A wonderful place to bring kids. The interpretive Ranger is very busy and interested in teaching others about all things nature.

Fishing, boating, swimming. What isn't there to do here? This place is so much fun. And the beauty if it will rest your soul.

Great park with plenty of sites on the water. The Devils watering hole is a must see. One of the nicest part is we visited so far.

We had a wonderful time at Inks Lake! It's very family friendly and there are lots of things to do: We enjoyed kayaking, swimming ang jumping at the Devil's waterhole, watching the birds (herons!) and the water is warm and clear -- we spotted minnows and bigger fish as well. Some great hikes nearby, and they offer a number of cool programs we WILL be coming back to do! And don't forget to see Longhorn Cavern -- very cool field trip and information. Staff here is professional and friendly. Awesome vacation all the way around!

We did the Saturday wild cave tour and was a great experience. Our guides kept us safe and allowed us to explore areas alone at times. A definite must rather than your usual walking cave tour. Definitely looking for other cave tours to go spelunking in !

I find it EXTREMELY frustrating that when we have a reservation for multiple sites that you can't guarantee that they will be together. This is very bad management on your part when you have a group coming up and them possibly being scattered all over the park!!! Not a happy camper!!!
