used to come here as a child, there was a great restaurant called Catfish barge that we used to frequent. Was sad when I went there years ago and it was closed. still a beautiful area!

Spent 2 nights here and the entire park is well maintained and gorgeous camp sites. Definitely a top in Texas!

Inks Lake is a diverse park.. most people think of the lake as the main attraction, but there is so much more than just the lake. If you enjoy birding, wildlife, wildflowers, camping, hiking, or photography, you could spend days here, keeping yourself happy. The birding, which is my main interest, is also diverse, with coastal birds, central Texas birds, AND the unique birds that come through during migration. My family has visited Inks every summer for 40+ years. It is the perfect place with lots to do. It is beautiful.

We had a great time at this park! Bathrooms were VERY clean every day. My only suggestion would be to add a little more info into the starry night hike.
